BCOS combines over 43 years of banking experience to support our clients in strategic planning and operational efficiency.  From branch operations and Treasury Management to self-service channels, BCOS helps clients navigate the overwhelming information they encounter, delivering tailored strategic direction and operational processes that best serve their institutions and their customers or members.

Tristan Smith, CEO

Tristan began his banking career as a teller, gaining firsthand experience in branch operations. He then transitioned into operations, moving from a small regional institution to a much larger one. Over the years, Tristan's expertise has grown to include ATM service, endpoint security, ATM and Debit PCI compliance, and management and growth of the ATM and ITM channels. He has also been instrumental in developing new branch processes that allow staff to focus on customer service, rather than day-to-day operations.

In addition to his hands-on experience, Tristan has served on numerous banking advisory boards, contributing his insights and expertise to help shape the future of the industry.

Tristan's passions lie in the banking industry, and he takes pride in turning clients into long-term partners--something he believes is earned through trust and results.

Outside of work, Tristan enjoys coaching his four kids in various sports, working on cars, and tackling home improvement projects.
